About Us
Hello! My name is Jake (yes, I am a foxhound) & I am so happy that my parents will be
getting married soon! My mommy was volunteering as a dog walker at the Friends of
Homeless Animals Shelter when she spotted me & right away fell in love with me :) I was
adopted that very same day & she took me to my new home in Ashburn a week later. I am
now seven years old and very happy in my life! I love to go on long hikes with my parents,
especially at Great Falls. They also take me to the Shirlington Dog Park about every
weekend. I have gone on many road trips with my parents...Quebec, Maine, Niagra Falls &
Shenendoah Valley. Some of my very favorite things to do are take naps in front of the
fireplace, chase squirrels, go on car rides, & play catch with Mom & Dad. About three times
a month I go visit my Grandparents in Alexandria. (They always give me lots of food & I
love mashed potatoes...like my Dad!!!)
